PetRad was started in 2001 by Robert C. McLear, VMD, DACVR, a board-certified veterinary radiologist. The practice expanded upon acquisition of the Veterinary Radiology Consultation Service, a referral service run by Dr. Darryl Biery for over 30 years. In 2006, PetRad acquired Nuclear Medicine for Pets of Ambler, PA.

PetRad provides teleradiology interpretation services for radiographs, CT, and MRI.

When needed, we draw on the knowledge of other boarded specialists in internal medicine, surgery, and exotic animal medicine to provide you and your patients with the highest quality services.
