Ultrasound • Computed Tomography

Outpatient ultrasound and CT appointments are available weekdays and require a referral from a veterinarian.

Computed Tomography requires anesthesia. Your pet must be healthy enough to undergo a 15-20 minute period of general anesthesia. Pre-anesthesia bloodwork and radiographs may required prior to scheduling an appointment.

Appointments are available with Dr. McLear at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates

To schedule an appointment, please call 610-328-1001 and choose the appropriate menu option.

Mail-In Interpretation Services

We offer both mail-in and teleradiology interpretation of radiographs, ultrasound, CT, and MRI studies. We typically provide a faxed and/or e-mailed report on the day we receive your study, and always within one business day.

Referrals must be from a veterinarian. We do not accept requests directly from pet owners.

For new clients, please include a check with your referral. For existing clients, we do offer monthly billing for your hospital. We will not bill pet owners for services provided.

Please see our for fee schedule for current pricing.

If you submit a study by mail, please include a completed referral form.

When mailing radiographs, please see our shipping recommendations to be sure that your images are received as soon as possible.
