Outpatient ultrasound appointments are available weekdays and require a referral from a veterinarian. Referrals for thoracic (non-cardiac) ultrasound examinations require thoracic radiographs prior to scheduling the appointment.
In general, no sedation or anesthesia is required for an ultrasound examination.
